After The Management Meeting, Plt PPP Mardiono Congratulations To Prabowo-Gibran

Plt Chairman of PPP Muhamad Mardiono congratulated the pair Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming who was appointed president and vice president elected by the Indonesian KPU.

This attitude was taken when the PPP DPP held its 21st management meeting to respond to the results of the 2024 presidential and legislative elections at the PPP Jakarta DPP Office on Thursday, March 21, evening.

"On behalf of the big family of the United Development Party, we congratulate Mr. H Prabowo Subianto and Mr. Gibran Rakabuming Raka who have received the highest votes as a result of the presidential and vice presidential elections based on the results of the recapitulation of the national vote of the General Election Commission of the Republic of Indonesia on March 20, 2024," said Mardiono in his press statement, Friday, March 22.

The remarks were conveyed in front of cadres during the daily board meeting. On that occasion, Mardiono also prayed that the results of the 2024 presidential election would be the best for the Indonesian people.

"Hopefully the results of the election of the President and Vice President are the best for the nation, state and people of Indonesia," he said. The daily meeting of the PPP DPP is a form of internal consolidation and the finalization of the preparation for the election dispute lawsuit to the Constitutional Court (MK).

As is known, PPP's vote acquisition in the results of the recapitulation of the Indonesian KPU was 5,878,777 votes or 3.87 percent. This number is different from the results of the internal PPP calculation of 4.04 percent.

PPP was declared to have failed to qualify for Senayan because the party's votes did not meet the threshold requirements or the Parliamentary Threshold of 4 percent.
