The Results Of Monitoring Of Violent Cases That Embedded During Ramadan In South Jakarta Only In Sarong And Petasan Wars

South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Ade Rahmat claimed that cases of crimes in his area during the holy month of Ramadan had decreased. This is known based on the lack of reports received by his party.

"For the number of crimes in the South Jakarta area during the month of Ramadan, Alhamdulillah, it has decreased, due to community activities," Ade told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, March 21.

Nevertheless, he acknowledged that in the holy month of Ramadan there were still some acts of violence such as a sarong war brawl.

"However, there are still several incidents, such as sarong wars, all kinds of things, there is also the use of firecrackers when suhoor," he said.

Therefore, his party continues to take preemptive and preventive measures to prevent criminal acts from occurring until brawls.

"We also urge parents in the South Jakarta area, whose children often play in South Jakarta areas such as sarong wars and so on, so that we can be reminded to monitor them together," he concluded.
