Police Immediately Name Suspect In Santri Death Case In Tebo Jambi

JAMBI - Tebo Police, Jambi, immediately named a suspect in the case of the death of a student AH (13) from one of the Islamic Boarding Schools.

The Head of Sub-Division of the Jambi Regional Police's Bidhumas Penmas, Kompol Muhammad Amin, said that the Tebo Police currently still strengthens the evidence and witness statements for the process of determining the suspect.

"There is no certainty that the number of perpetrators will be delivered on Friday (tomorday, red)," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, March 21.

Regarding the identity of the perpetrator involved, he said the alleged perpetrator was a senior student.

Regarding the cause of the student's death, Amin could not explain further. His party is still waiting for the results of the stages of the investigation carried out by Tebo Police investigators.

Previously, the Director General of the Jambi Regional Police, Kombes Andri Ananta Yudhistira, emphasized that the Jambi Regional Police would continue to monitor the progress of the investigation into the AH death case.

There are 54 witnesses who have been examined by Tebo Police investigators. Dozens of witnesses came from AH's friends, pesantren management and expert witness statements, in this case the doctor who examined the victim both during the first examination at the clinic and at the hospital, as well as an autopsy doctor's expert witness.

Andri said there was a difference in information from the doctor who issued the victim's death certificate with the hospital doctor and the autopsy results.
