Demonstration In Front Of The DPR Building Is Chaotic, Women Are Trampled, One Provocateur Is Taken To Polda Metro Jaya

Joint Police officers dispersed Jokowi's impeachment demonstration in front of the DPR RI Building, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday, March 19, evening. The demonstrators were dispersed at 21.00 WIB.

The joint police officers were forced to resign and disperse after the negotiation process between the coordinator and the authorities was tough. Finally, the police were forced to take firm action by forcibly disbanding.

The police from above the command car ordered personnel to move forward several steps. The protesters defended, but were eventually forced to withdraw because the authorities continued to move forward.

Several women's action masses were seen falling until they were trampled on, but were helped by other protesters by pulling them. The authorities had arrested several masses who were considered provocateurs.

However, the cooperation of the mass action was strong enough that their friends escaped from the hands of the authorities. The crowd chose to disperse, while police officers continued to pressure the masses to withdraw.

Even the Deputy Chief of Metro Jaya Police, Brigadier General Suyudi, intervened to disperse the crowd. Suyudi was surrounded by his men dispersing the masses.

At around 21.00 WIB, the mass of action was confirmed to be disbanded. Police officers continued to be on guard at the location while ordering the demonstrators to disperse.

Meanwhile, according to information compiled by VOI, several provocateurs were successfully secured by the police. The provocateurs were secured and taken to Polda Metro Jaya.

"There was (secured) my data was not available. I was immediately taken to the Polda Metro Jaya. Earlier, I saw 3 people (secured) from a distance. They were immediately taken to the Polda for no time," said one of the police officers.

Previously, it was reported that two groups of mass demonstrations were involved in throwing mineral water bottles at each other in front of the main fence of the DPR/MPR RI building, Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, March 19.

They were provoked through loudspeakers from each command car. Meanwhile, the fire that burned used tires continued to burn in the anti-government camp of Jokowi.

From VOI's observation at the location, it was seen that the anti-government mass group Jokowi provoked a group of students and students through loudspeakers.

Then several anti-government masses also pointed their middle fingers at the mass supporters of the government.

Suddenly, this action provoked anger from both parties. They also threw bottles of mineral water at each other. The throwing action took about 5 minutes. There were no casualties as a result of this incident.
