Golkar Asks For 5 Ministers' Allotment, Anies-Imin's Kubu Sindir Political Transactional Prabowo-Gibran Coalition

JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the National Team for the Winning of Anies-Muhaimin (AmIN National Team) Billy David Neututumilena views the coalition of political parties that support Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka is highly colored by political transactions.

Billy's statement refers to the Golkar Party's desire to get a minimum of 5 ministerial seats, while the General Elections Commission (KPU) has not yet appointed Prabowo-Gibran as President and Vice President of 2024-2029 to be elected.

"Regarding Golkar's decision regarding the proportion of ministerial seats, this needs to be a concern for all of us how this transactional politics was carried out in advance, even before the election results were announced," Billy told reporters, Monday, March 18.

Billy asked the elite political parties, especially the Prabowo-Gibran camp, to refrain from the desire to occupy the seat of power and to maintain a conducive democratic climate until the 2024 election results are determined by the KPU.

"We have seen that recently Pak Airlangga has also been caught up in many controversial issues. Apart from free lunch, his comments were taken by the Golkar party ministerial seat. I don't think it should be done," said Billy.

Moreover, Billy emphasized, there are still further stages after the KPU announcement, namely the election result lawsuit submitted to the Constitutional Court (MK) which is planned to be carried out by the AMIN National Team and the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN).

"We must wait until the election results are announced by the KPU and other constitutional steps should also be awaited," he said.

It was reported earlier that the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP Airlangga Hartarto mentioned the big role of the party he led in winning the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair in the 2024 presidential election.

Airlangga said from data from the Golkar Party Election Winning Board, around 75 to 80 percent of party cadres and sympathizers bearing the banyan tree chose the Prabowo-Gibran pair so that they could win 58 percent of the votes and win one round of the presidential election.

"This is the highest in history. So, the past history of the president who was supported not from Golkar was only supported by 53 percent, now 75 to 80 percent. This means that the Golkar Party is really in front to win Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran," said Airlangga during a celebration of the success of the Golkar Party in Badung Regency, Bali, Friday, March 15.

For this big role, Airlangga then calculated that Prabowo should be in Prabowo's leadership, the Golkar Party got a larger portion in the cabinet.

"I conveyed to Pak Prabowo about Golkar's contribution because we won in 15 provinces. That means we contributed 25 percent of the 58 percent victory," he said.

"So, if it's 25 percent, if you share it, it's okay to share a lot. We call five (menter positions) a minimum, but if it's calculated the proportion of 25 percent, there's still a lot of rooms (rooms)," he added.
