The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Karawang Regency, West Java, noted that thousands of housing units were flooded following the high rainfall that has occurred in the area in recent days.

"We recorded that 1,452 houses were flooded," said Head of Emergency and Logistics Division of BPBD KarawangFerry Muharam Regency, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, March 15.
