JAKARTA - Wuling Motors invites visitors to the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 to experience firsthand the driving experience with a range of electric vehicles (EV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) through a test drive program. All test sessions are available throughout the GIIAS exhibition at ICE BSD City, Tangerang.

This program is an opportunity for prospective consumers to explore the performance, comfort, and the latest technology embedded in the Wuling vehicle line before deciding to make a purchase. Visitors simply follow the procedures set out at the Wuling booth in Hall 9.

Through this program, Wuling hopes that more people can experience the driving experience of an electrified vehicle directly and get to know the innovations offered by the brand at GIIAS 2026. As conveyed by Brand Communication Senior Manager Wuling Motors Brian Gomgom.

"Through the test drive program at GIIAS 2026, we present the complete line of Wuling EV and PHEV products so that the public can experience the driving character of each model directly," said Gomgom at ICE BSD, Tangerang recently.

"Visitors also have the opportunity to try our latest products, including Aira ev, which we have prepared so that they can get to know more closely the performance, comfort, and technology offered by each vehicle," he continued.

One of the models that can be tried is the Aira ev, a small electric car that carries the theme 'Fun Everyday, For Everyone'. This model is available in two battery options, namely the Standard Range with a capacity of 16.2 kWh with a range of up to 205 kilometers based on the CLTC standard, and the Long Range with a 25.1 kWh battery that can travel up to 301 kilometers.

Both have been supported by DC Fast Charging technology which allows charging in about 35 minutes. In addition, Wuling also presents Darion in EV and PHEV versions. This family MPV is claimed to be the first model in Indonesia that offers a choice of pure electric technology and plug-in hybrid.

Darion EV is equipped with a 150 kW electric motor, a 69.2 kWh battery, and can travel up to 540 kilometers (CLTC). Meanwhile, Darion PHEV relies on the Ling Power Hybrid system with electric driving capabilities of up to 125 kilometers and a combined mileage of more than 1,000 kilometers, complete with DC Fast Charging support.

Another option available to try is the Eksion EV and Eksion PHEV. This seven-passenger SUV is the first model in Indonesia to come with a choice of EV and plug-in hybrid technology.

The EV version offers a range of up to 530 kilometers (CLTC), a 150 kW electric motor, and a 69.2 kWh battery with CCS2 fast charging.
