Mr. Police Chief, KKP Minister Sakti Wahyu Asks For Help To Monitor The Fry Export Ban

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) will coordinate with the National Police regarding the ban on the export of lobster or fry. The form of coordination concerns the supervision of the prohibition.

"We will ask the Chief of Police for assistance to always prevent about the fry (export)," said KKP Minister Sakti Wahyu Trenggono quoted from his personal Instagram @swtrenggono, Sunday, February 28.

Trenggono emphasized that during his leadership as Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, he would not allow anyone to export fry. In this case, only preservation is allowed.

"Now in my time, I say it has been put on hold (export of fry)," said Trenggono.

"But I declare in front of all of you that I will definitely stop it," he continued.

Previously it was reported, Trenggono emphasized that he prohibited the export of lobster seeds or fries during his leadership. In the future, only fry can only be cultivated in Indonesia.

"The fry, I am certain I will ban the export of it. Why? Because the fry is a wealth of this nation, a wealth of Indonesian nature," he said.

"It (fry) can only be cultivated until then the size of consumption because the added value is in the measure of consumption," he continued.

The ban on the export of fry, said Trenggono, was due to the potential for criminal acts of corruption. In fact, this has already happened in the case of Edhy Prabowo. In addition, by only allowing cultivation, we can be sure that it will get big benefits for the community.
