Mataram City Government Proposes 341 Honorary K2 To Be Appointed As PPPK This Year

MATARAM - The Mataram City Government, West Nusa Tenggara Province, proposed 341 honorary people who are the remaining second category (K2), to be appointed government employees with a work agreement (PPPK) in recruitment in 2024. "Hundreds of K2 are mostly elementary and junior high school education. So it is unlikely that they can participate in the selection using the CAT (computer assisted test) test," said Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Mataram City Lalu Alwan Basri in Mataram, quoted from Antara, Friday, February 23. In accordance with the direction of the Mayor of Mataram H Mohan Roliskana who is committed to proposing that the remaining K2 can be appointed as PPPK, the Regional Secretary immediately communicates with various parties. The goal is to find a solution or selection system that will be specifically determined for the remaining K2 honorary, the important thing is that they can be appointed as PPPK. "We will try to coordinate with the Central Government so that these 341 K2 can be appointed as PPPK. Of course, according to existing positions or formations," he said. Previously, the Regional Secretary said that for 2024, the Mataram City Government had proposed as many as 685 formations of prospective civil servants (CPNS) and PPPK based on analysis of the need for office and analysis of workloads that had been completed. According to him, as many as 685 proposed formations were divided into two, namely 102 formations for CPNS needs and as many as 583 for PPPK formations. The 102 CPNS formation consists of 80 formations for the needs of technical personnel, then 9 formations for educators or teachers, the remaining 13 formations for health workers (nakes). "Meanwhile, the formation for the needs of PPPK is 583 formations consisting of 341 contract or K2 daily personnel, then 59 formations for non-power daily contracts, 96 formations for teachers and health workers 87 formations," he said.

Meanwhile, related to the number of proposed CPNS teachers less than PPPK, the Regional Secretary said that the PPPK teacher proposal accommodates the number of teachers who retire in Mataram City in 2024. "Formation of 96 teachers at PPPK is in accordance with the number of retirees, while the formation of 9 CPNS teachers is for new graduates. We accommodate according to the instructions from the ministry," added the Regional Secretary.
