Seconds Of The Tanah Abang Police Detention Center Escaped: Had Asked For Cigarettes And Matches To Parking Attendants

JAKARTA - A parking attendant (jukir) revealed that he had seen an unknown group of men leaving the Tanah Abang Police area. Jukir, who did not want to be named, said that the group left the police area and took a car suspected of being an online taxi, on Jalan Pemberianan, Bendungan Hilir Village (Benhil), Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

"I didn't know that the prisoners had escaped. But they stopped the car, online taxis at the Karet Bivak red light," said the Jukir to VOI, Monday, February 19.

Jukir also said that the men who generally wear free clothes fled by vehicle at around 03.30 WIB. In addition, there were also those who went towards Pejompongan while running.

"Those are the ones I saw looking for, someone ran away and someone took an online taxi," he said.

It was also told that one of the men from the group asked for cigarettes and matches before finally leaving. However, he did not realize that the man was a prisoner who escaped.

"The one who asked for the fire and cigarettes at first I saw the linglung, then I reprimanded him. He was wearing shorts, his skin was white and there was a tattoo like a bracelet on the left hand," he said.
