Failed To Overtake, Woman Motorbike In Tangerang Killed By A Truck, Driver Escapes

TANGERANG A female motorcyclist became a victim of a hit-and-run on Jalan Raya Cisauk Lapan, Cisauk, Tangerang Regency, Friday, February 16. As a result of the incident, the victim with the initials CR (46) died at the scene. Meanwhile, the perpetrator fled in the truck he was driving.

"It is true that a traffic accident caused one person to die on Friday, February 16," said Head of Public Relations of the South Tangerang Police, AKP Wendy in her statement, Friday, February 16.

Wendy explained that the incident began when the automatic motorbike driven by CR drove from north to south. Arriving at the scene of the incident the victim tried to overtake the truck in front of him, but failed until he finally fell.

"It fell and was run over by the right rear tire of the truck, causing it to die at the scene," he said.

After the incident, the driver of the truck whose identity had not been identified fled died at the scene.

The police who knew the information went directly to the crime scene (TKP) to evacuate the victim to the nearest hospital.

Meanwhile, this case is being investigated by the South Tangerang Police Traffic Unit.
