Two Houses Of Duren Sawit Residents Terrorized, Electric Meters Burned By Unknown Persons

JAKARTA - The arson mode of terror took place in two houses located in RT 02/04, Pondok Kopi, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, Friday, February 16. Although the fire was successfully extinguished by residents, residents were worried that the terror burning of the house would occur again.

In the action, the unknown perpetrator burned parts of the fence of the house and benches, as well as electrical meters of the house. After receiving the report, members of the Duren Sawit Police conducted an examination of the fence of the burning house.

Another resident noticed the arson. Residents tried to wake the owner of the house and try to extinguish the fire.

"I was sitting inside, then there was the sound of the pickpockets. When I saw there was a fire, but I was silent. I peeked when I saw the fire, then I brought the water to water. But the fire was getting bigger. I woke up, Mr. Hajj, I woke up," said Ujang Syafudin to reporters, Friday, February 16, afternoon.

Ujang said the incident occurred in the early hours of Friday at around 00.20 WIB. He also did not know the characteristics of the perpetrators of the arson terror.

"I don't know who the culprit is. When Friday morning there was another one there, my mind was with the Hajj who threw away cigarette butts. But when I saw there was an incident, it was deliberately a matter of different places," he said.
