Thousands Of Residents Of Pondok Aren Tangsel Are Ready To Re-vote This Weekend

TANGERANG - The General Election Commission (KPU) of South Tangerang has confirmed that the voting at 16 polling stations in the Pondok Aren area will be held on Sunday, February 18. The decision follows a re-voting that was canceled due to weather and flooding.

Chairman of the sub-district election committee (PPK) Pondok Aren, Suriadi said there were 3,805 permanent voters (DPT) in the follow-up this time.

"The next election will be held on Sunday, because we believe it will be crowded and suppress the decline in election participation," said Suriadi when confirmed, Thursday, February 15.

Suriadi also revealed that if in fact, his party was ready to start at any time this voting. However, because yesterday the area was flooded, the logistics were temporarily returned to the South Tangerang KPU.

"If it's from us, the point is that we are ready, we just have to wait for the new logistics from the KPU. The long-drawn logistics ratio," he said.

Regarding the voting mechanism, said Suriadi, there was no change. The voters will follow the flow as in general, starting from submitting personal data to inserting ballots into ballot boxes.

"There are no changes, the implementation is the same, nothing is tightened either," he explained

The chairman of the General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) Tangsel Muhammad Acep said the same thing. He said that the voting for the polling station, which was delayed yesterday, would be held this week.

"I've asked Panwascam on Saturday or Sunday," Acep said in a short message, Thursday, February 15.

Acep said that later there would be 16 polling stations in the Pondok Aren area, South Tangerang (Tangsel).
