Dony Oskaria Says KCIC Burden at WIKA and KAI Will Be Resolved Soon

JAKARTA - BP BUMN Head Dony Oskaria said that the burden of KCIC on WIKA and KAI was being resolved. He admitted that WIKA was burdened because it had shares in KCIC and there were still bills that had not been settled.

Dony conveyed this at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Friday, July 31, when asked about the burden of the fast train debt in the KAI and WIKA books.

According to Dony, the problem must be seen in a broader context. BP BUMN is currently solving many old problems in SOEs.

"We are the new ones who are actually solving the existing problems. These problems have existed before with an extraordinary dimension," said Dony.

He said the state-owned enterprise issue was not only about KCIC. There are also problems at PT Pos, Adhi, Adhi Properti, BUMN works, WIKA Realty, to PP Properti.

Dony said the settlement was carried out one by one because the number of SOEs that had to be cleaned up was very large.

"One thousand one by one we will clean it up," he said.

Regarding KCIC, Dony admitted that WIKA shared the burden.

"But I just corrected that it was indeed burdened. WIKA is burdened, they have shares in KCIC," said Dony.

He also said there were bills that had not been completed. Therefore, the problem could not be left.

"There are bills that he also hasn't settled. This is a burden for them. But in the end we have to solve it. It's impossible for us to keep quiet," he said.

When asked about the solution to the fast train debt, Dony said the settlement process was underway and was expected to be resolved in a few weeks.

"There is a decision, of course. It remains, hopefully, in the next few weeks it will be resolved," said Dony.

When asked whether the solution was in the form of government takeover, Dony said the pattern used was likely to lead to that.

"God willing, it will be done with this pattern. It will be given away," he said.

Dony asked the public to be patient because BP BUMN is gradually tidying up many old problems.

"Please be patient," said Dony.
