TANGERANG - The Voting Station (TPS) 01 on Jalan Manyar Dalam RT.01/01, Rengas, South East Ciputat, has worsened. This happened because of rain accompanied by strong winds that hit the area.
Ciputat Police Chief, Kompol Kemas Arifin confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Wednesday, February 14, in the morning.
"Yes, that's right, this morning it happened. Because of the rain and big winds," said Kemas, Wednesday, February 14.
Kemas said that even though TPS 01 had collapsed, voting activities in the general election (Pemilu) would still be held.
He said the voting process was moved to the RT Setampat location which is 50 meters from the previous TPS.
"Earlier, it was finally moved to the RT place," he said.
