Inspired By The Asian Cup Champion National Team, Pandawa 5 Banten Holds Esport Tournaments For Young People

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Esports national team made history by winning the 2023 Esport Asian Cup or EAsian Cup in Qatar. The Indonesian Esports national team players, namely Rizky Faldan, Akbar Paudie & Elga Cahya Putra also made the nation proud through the Esport event.

This is behind the Pandawa Lima Banten volunteer organization holding an Esport tournament for young people.

"Supporting the program of young people who are involved in the realm of a Creative Economy. In the future, the Esport Sector will be even bigger after being inaugurated as a sport. Evidently, Indonesia has won asia for the first time," said the chairman of Pandawa Lima Banten, Andre Samuel Siahaan, in his statement, Friday 8 February.

Andre Added, the tournament, which was attended by 300 youths from various regions, became a forum for capturing the ability of young people to have a career to become professional athletes.

"It has the potential to produce professional esport athletes. Both nationally and internationally," said Andre.

According to Andre, no one thought that the Esport development was massive and had a lot of interest in young people.

"From the beginning, it was just a hobby of playing games. Now it is wide open to be transformed into a Professional Athlete. The bonus can make the nation proud when they win," said Andre.

Former Mayor of South Tangerang who is also the Head of the Banten Regional Campaign Team, TKN Airin Rachmi Diany, appreciated the Esport Tournament for young people.

"Hopefully Prabowo will win and be inaugurated with Mas Gibran. Because Mas Gibran is a young man who really cares about Esport," explained Airin.

Pandawa Lima is a volunteer organization fostered by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs & Investment Luhut Binsar Panjaitan. This organization also officially destroys support for Prabowo-Gibran.
