The Pulogadung Police have arrested 14 heavily armed teenagers who were handed over by the East Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team from the Biduri Bulan Street area, RT 10/04, Pisangan Timur Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta.

In addition to securing 14 teenagers, the police also confiscated various types of sharp weapons from the house of one of the brawlers.

Head of Public Relations of the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Lina Yuliana, said the sharp weapons seized were 2 corbek blades and 2 sickle blades.

"Currently, the 14 teenagers are still being investigated. The police are continuing to try to prevent brawls in the East Jakarta area," said AKP Lina when confirmed, Thursday, February 8.

The arrest of this group of teenagers who wanted to fight was the aftermath of the incident a few days ago. Previously, these two groups of teenagers were involved in a brawl in the area.

Furthermore, the police again dismissed two other teenagers who were suspected of being involved in a brawl in the Pisangan Baru Selatan area, RT 04/09, Pisangan Baru Village, Matraman District, East Jakarta.

"When two teenagers were searched, no items were found in the form of sharp weapons. From the confession, both of them will indeed carry out retaliatory attacks," he said.

AKP Lina appealed to the brawlers not to repeat their actions, because the brawl was dangerous.

"We, from the East Jakarta Metro Police, give an appeal to the brawlers not to repeat their actions again because it is very dangerous for the safety of themselves and others," he said.

Then, the 14 teenagers and sharp weapons that were secured had been handed over to the Pulogadung Police for further investigation and development.
