Bawaslu And TPN Ganjar-Mahfud Discuss Findings Of Violations Of The 2024 Election

Chairman of the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) Rahmat Bagja said his party was sharing or discussing with the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md after receiving reports of findings of violations of the 2024 General Election from them.

"The findings from TPN friends, we share (discussed) with TPN how we take action, how to continue the report, how the report, for example, was followed up but stopped in what process. We have conveyed that," said Bagja as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 6.

Bagja also said that from the start his party had always monitored every stage of the election that took place.

"From the start. However, there were friends of TPN who said it like this, we also shared it with our data. Almost the same," he said.

Therefore, he said, Bawaslu is always committed to organizing every election process in accordance with applicable regulations.

"Our commitment is to hold elections in accordance with the provisions of the legislation. That is a shared commitment," he said.

Meanwhile, TPN Deputy for Law Ganjar-Mahfud, Todung Mulya Lubis, said that his party had received data on election violations of thousands of cases.

"If there are quite a lot of violations, thousands, but the problem is that not all violations can be processed by Bawaslu because the violation must be clear, the locus, then the case is sitting, the case. Now this must be really concrete, specific, can only be processed," said Todung in Jakarta, Tuesday.

Todung then explained that administrative violations were one type of violation of the thousands of data he had.
