BUMD PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) Bali conducted an operational test of the revenue system for foreign tourists (Wisman) before it was implemented starting February 14, 2024.

"The stages are in accordance with the process that the Bali Provincial Government has agreed upon, technically we are ready," said BPD Bali Director Ida Bagus Gede Setia Yasa, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 6.

According to him, the test was related to a number of modules and features for the receipt of the Wisman Charges.

Operational tests that have been carried out include related to the transaction process system (TPS) and security, then the thickening of payment information system testing for users and banks (front and backend) and including the dashboard related to the Wisman Charge, as well as User Admission Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT).

Everything is smooth. Currently we are preparing operational tests that are carried out like our mechanisms in banking," he added.

The payment of the Wisman Charges can be made through the Love Bali system on the lovebali.baliprov.go.id page before arriving or before entering the arrival gate on the Island of the Gods.

On that page, foreign tourists first fill in the data including passport number, name, email address or e-mail, and arrival date.

In addition, payments can also be made elsewhere, namely through the arrival gate of foreign tourists at the airport or at agents on cruise ships, accommodation, travel agents and tourist attractions.

Meanwhile, the non-cash payment instruments are Wisman credit cards and debit cards, which currently have four international payment networks, namely master cards, Visa, American Express and JCB.

Then there is a bar or QRIS code-based payment system, and a virtual account of the National Payment Movement (GPN) as well as chip-based electronic money.

Meanwhile, non-cash payment channels are carried out through electronic transaction machines (EDC), mobile and internet banking and automated teller machines (ATMs).

The Bali Provincial Government previously appointed the Bali BPD as a perception bank that houses a Wisman Charge of IDR 150 thousand per person starting February 14 and the levy will later go into the regional treasury account managed by the Bali BPD.
