Learning About Molotov Bombing Through YouTube, Students In Duren Sawit Arrested By Police

The East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) and Duren Sawit Police managed to uncover the perpetrators of the brawl armed with two homemade Molotov cocktails while in action in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta.

The perpetrator is known as M. Kohir (19), a resident of Klender, East Jakarta. In the action, the perpetrators assembled Molotov cocktails independently using bottles of liquor.

East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly said the perpetrator produced the Molotov cocktail alone by himself.

"He learns from YouTube and learns from friends. He knows from what friends say and (watches) from YouTube," said Kombes Nicolas to reporters, Monday, February 5.

In addition, the East Jakarta Metro Police also arrested as many as 20 children in conflict with the law (ABH) who were involved in a brawl from three different groups of gangsters.

"There are 20 suspects carrying sharp weapons and Molotov cocktails. We carry out security and treatment of the perpetrators in accordance with ABH with the Social Service," he said.

Meanwhile, the case of the brawl is still being developed by the police to reveal the sellers of sharp weapons that are often used by the perpetrators of the brawl.
