Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department regulates illegal parking of two-wheeled vehicles around Sudirman Station, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Friday, February 2. Control is carried out because of the many complaints from the public who feel disturbed.

"The Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. has brought the Blora and Kendal areas back to order because every morning there are complaints from passengers at the station, of course it becomes traffic jams at this location," said Head of the Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Wildan Anwar when confirmed, Friday, February 2.

Wildan said the control was carried out in almost 8 areas in Central Jakarta on a regular basis. But today, he continued, his party focused on controlling the Blora area as a therapeutic standout.

"So far, we control it less than optimally. Today we maximize it, and in the future we will improve it again so that it is neater," he said.

The rise of illegal parking on the sidewalks in the Sudirman Station area is due to the large number of train service users who use online motorcycle taxi services (ojol).

"Indeed, there are service users, one of whom is a passenger from the top dukuh station train. They have ordered the ojol application and the motorbike is waiting on the road. It should be a place that does not interfere with traffic," he said.

Wildan also admitted that his party had held a meeting at the Central Jakarta Mayor's level regarding the matter. Two also suggested that the ojol gathering point could take advantage of the area opposite Sudirman Station, namely in front of BNI City because of the dead road access.

"But they want to stay here. That's why we're here, we're crashing so we don't linger. We can't hang out. We're trying to be humane. The motorbike is ticketed by the police," he said.
