SYL's Examination Is So Short, Investigators Are Targeted For 6 Questions

Syahrul Yasin Limpo was again investigated in the extortion case with the suspect Firli Bahuri

JAKARTA - Former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, finished undergoing examination at Polda Metro Jaya, today. SYL is said to have only six questions asked by investigators.

"Not a lot earlier. five or six (questions)," said Syahrul Yasin Limpo's lawyer, Djamaluddin Koedoebon when confirmed, Monday, January 29.

The questions raised by investigators are said to be only an affirmation of Syahrul Yasin Limpo's previous statement.

In addition, Djamaluddin said that the examination was not a step to develop investigators regarding the alleged crime of money laundering (TPPU) Firli Bahuri.

"I didn't think so. (The allegation of extortion) Yes, it seems like that," he said.

According to him, not only his client was examined by investigators. However, there is also the former Director of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery of the Ministry of Agriculture Muhammad Hatta.

However, the examination of the two was carried out separately. This means that investigators do not confront their statements.

"It's not just a confrontation. In just a moment, we just entered, not for a long time it was finished," said Djamaluddin.

Previously, SYL was also questioned at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police regarding the alleged extortion case committed by former KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri, Thursday, January 11. The examination lasted for 12 hours.

After the examination, Syahrul Yasin Limpo gave a statement. He stated that he had conveyed everything he knew to investigators.

"I have conveyed what investigators and others have asked for until midnight. I think this is the umpteenth time. I think that's the case," said SYL.
