JAKARTA - The automotive brand from Vietnam seems very serious about working on the Indonesian market, and is even rumored to be adding another portfolio of models in 2025.

From the VOI meeting on the Instagram social media page @indra_fathan, one of the automotive influencers, Tuesday, January 7, the latest model in question is VinFast VF3.

In fact, the car looks like it is on Indonesian roads. If true, later the model will be the third line up, previously there were VF34 and VF 5.

"VinFast is rumored to be presenting a new product for the Indonesian market, namely VF3 which is ready to fight the dominance of Wuling Air ev in the micro EV segment," the tweet read.

It was also stated that the model will officially launch at the IIMS event which will take place in February, and the price is said to be below Rp200 million.

In specifications, VinFast VF3 has a tiny dimension with a length of 3,190 mm, a width of 1,679 mm, a height of 1,652 mm. The design is quite unique, but looks modern.

Referring to Vietnamese specifications, this car is embedded with an LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery with a capacity of 18.64 kWh combined with an electric motorbike, generating 40 hp of power and a peak torque of 110 Nm.

The battery is capable of providing a range of 210 km in one full charge. Of course, a figure that is sufficient to be used in urban areas only. Interested if you are really present in Indonesia?
