Unlike South Jakarta, Tangerang City Bawaslu Has Removed Thousands Of Problem APKs

The Tangerang General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) has removed 6,707 campaign props (APK) that violated the rules, according to the provisions of the General Elections Commission (KPU).

The head of the Tangerang City Bawaslu, Komarulloh, said the removal was carried out from December 15, 2023, to January 15, 2024.

"From yesterday's campaign until now, from December 15 to January 15 yesterday, we have lowered the APK to 6,707 in the city of Tangerang," said Kumarulloh when confirmed, Friday, January 19.

South Jakarta Bawaslu Commissioner Ahmad Fahlevi said his party was only tidying up. Because his party collided with regulations, so they could not remove the problematic APK.

Fahlevi said, in the action of removing the APK, his party involved political parties (Parpol) to participate together in controlling the APK, including in the flyover.

"Because the authority to remove today is only a political party. Insiatifs cannot be removed, so we are hit. We are Bawaslu, our authority is not to control, but to supervise the installation of the APK and supervise the APK," he said.
