JAKARTA - Former Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights Edward Omar Sharif Hiariej or Eddy Hiariej has re-registered a pretrial lawsuit to the South Jakarta District Court. The inaugural trial is planned to be held on January 11. "It is true that the applicant former Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights Prof. Dr. Omar Hiariej has re-submitted his pretrial application to the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday, January 3, 2024," said the Public Relations Officer of the South Jakarta District Court, Djuyamto to reporters, Thursday, January 4. The Eddy Hiariej camp was originally able to withdraw the pretrial lawsuit on December 20. The plan is that the pretrial lawsuit trial for his determination as a suspect will be held next week. Eddy Hiariej and his personal assistant, Yogi Arie Rukmana and his lawyer, Yosi Andika, withdrew the pretrial lawsuit at the South Jakarta District Court. In fact, two trials have been held.
