"Everything is still in process," said President Jokowi, Saturday, December 30.
President Joko Widodo said Firli Bahuri's replacement process was carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.
Article 33 of Law Number 19 of 2019 concerning the KPK states that in the event of a vacancy in the KPK leadership, the President submits a candidate for replacement member to the DPR.
The replacement member as referred to was chosen from the Corruption KPK candidate who was previously not elected in the DPR, as long as it still meets the requirements as stipulated.
A member of the replacement for the leadership of the Corruption Eradication Commission as referred to, continued the remaining term of office of the Corruption Eradication Commission leadership who was replaced.
