South Kalimantan Police Arrest Fredy Pratama Network In Bali And Samarinda

The Directorate of Drug Investigation of the South Kalimantan Police (Kalsel) arrested the network of international narcotics kingpin Fredy Pratama in Bali and Samarinda, East Kalimantan by confiscating a total of 8,657 grams of crystal methamphetamine or approximately 8.6 kilograms.

"We have arrested six suspects related to Fredy's network, one of whom is a woman," said the Director of Drug Investigation at the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Kelana Jaya, in Banjarmasin, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 29.

The first was arrested by the Navy with evidence of a package of methamphetamine in Banjarmasin which was then developed by officers who were successfully arrested by the controller of SA in Banjar Regency and his female friend YH in Banjarbaru, on Wednesday (13/12).

Furthermore, from the information from SA and YH, information on the smuggling of methamphetamine through package delivery services came from Padang, West Sumatra to Badung Regency, Bali.

The team led by the Head of Sub-Directorate 1 of the Narcotics Directorate of the South Kalimantan Police, AKBP Meilki Bharata, flew to Bali to arrest FE and WI with evidence of eight packages of methamphetamine weighing 4,037 grams.

Then SA also admitted that there were 15 packages of methamphetamine shipments from Padang to Samarinda weighing 4,620 grams with recipients of SU residents from Jakarta who received orders from the Fredy network.

Kelana stated that her team continues to search the drug trafficking network that is still linked to Fredy.

Likewise for money laundering (TPPU), the police are still tracking assets related to the source of Fredy's drug business network in South Kalimantan.

It is known that Lian Silas as Fredy Pratama's father is currently being charged with money laundering offenses from the results of the drug business run by the child.

Lian Silas is currently a defendant and is undergoing trial at the Banjarmasin District Court.

Meanwhile, Fredy himself is still being hunted by Interpol because it is suspected that he has often moved from the country in his escape from the pursuit of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.
