Year-End Holidays, Ministry Of Transportation Records An Increase In Passengers At Pulo Gebang Terminal Up To 70 Percent

JAKARTA - During the 2024 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays, the Ministry of Transportation recorded an increase in passengers at Pulo Gebang Terminal, East Jakarta. The increase reached around 70 percent.

Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi in his official statement appreciated the service of Pulo Gebang Terminal, East Jakarta which was getting better thanks to the implementation of online or online systems, so that Budi said, passengers would be more comfortable.

"Now the passengers leave and come clearly verified. Where did the departure and arrival come from, where to buy tickets, everything is online," said Budi at Pulo Gebang Terminal, East Jakarta, Friday, December 29.

In addition to purchasing tickets online, the system is arranged to make it easier for passengers, starting from departure information to passenger arrivals, and entry/gate gates to enter the waiting room that already uses digital technology.

Minister of Transportation Budi Karya also checked the ongoing ramp check activities, for example checking on the 87 Pandawa PO Bus heading Wonosari-Yogyakarta-Jakarta to ensure the feasibility of bus operations.
