KPK Examines Director General Of Horticulture Prihasto Setyanto For Alleged SYL Corruption At The Ministry Of Agriculture

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined the Director General of Horticulture at the Ministry of Agriculture Prihasto Setyanto as a witness related to allegations of corruption with Syahrul Yasin Limpo (YSL) et al at the Ministry of Agriculture, Thursday, December 28. "Today (December 28) at the KPK's Red and White Building, the investigative team has scheduled the summons and examination of witness Prihasto Setyanto, Director General of Horticulture at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri, Thursday, December 28. It is known that the KPK has officially appointed former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo as a corruption suspect in the case of extortion and acceptance of gratuities within the Ministry of Agriculture. Syahrul Yasin Limpo is suspected of making a unilateral policy that requires his subordinates to provide deposits, where the money will be suspected to meet SYL's personal needs.

Apart from Syahrul Yasin Limpo, the KPK has also named other suspects, including the Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi Subagyono and the Director of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery of the Ministry of Agriculture Muhammad Hatta. The KPK has also secured a number of evidence related to alleged corruption cases such as Rp 30 billion in cash to documents containing cash flow.
