It was later discovered that the two perpetrators with the initials JA (22) and R (30) were fugitives. One suspect with the initials JA was arrested by a buser member of the Duren Sawit Police, while R managed to escape.

Suspect JA was arrested by Aipda Mursidi who led the arrest. Then the perpetrator JA was taken to the Duren Sawit Police for further processing.

Duren Sawit Police Chief AKP Sutikno said the burglary mode carried out by suspect JA by throwing stones at the victim's head who was riding a motorbike fell.

Furthermore, the two perpetrators went straight to the TKP. After seeing the victim passing by, the perpetrator immediately threw a stone with both hands towards the victim's head, causing the victim to fall.

The two perpetrators approached the victim's motorbike. Suspect JA woke the victim's motorbike, while R beat the victim with a baseball bat repeatedly.

The victim had asked the suspect not to take his motorbike. The victim was also willing to give money. However, suspect R immediately took the victim's green sleptang bag.

After successfully seizing the victim's bag, R then took JA back to Kaliagung, Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit. Then R gave the victim's bag to the suspect JA. Then the victim was sick, reported the incident to the Duren Sawit Police.

"Suspect JA was arrested at the Kost place on Jalan Swakarsa, No.56, RT 02/03, Pondok Kelapa Duren Sawit Village. Evidence of green bags and confiscated money was found," he said.

Suspect JA was secured to the Duren Sawit Police. Meanwhile, suspect R is still being chased.

In addition to confiscating the victim's bag, the police also confiscated a block of rock with a diameter of 15 cm which was suspected of throwing the victim's body. The suspect JA is threatened with Article 365 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 7 years in prison.
