Three Couriers Of Marijuana And Methamphetamine Arrested When Delivering Drug Packages In Palmerah And Kebon Jeruk

Three marijuana and methamphetamine drug couriers were arrested by the police while delivering drug orders in the Palmerah and Kebon Jeruk areas, West Jakarta.

The first arrests were made of two couriers of dried marijuana with the initials GR and MF in the KS Tubun Street area, Palmerah District, West Jakarta. From their hands, 1 kilogram of marijuana was confiscated.

"The suspect GR was secured with a package of marijuana weighing approximately 1 kilogram," said Palmerah Police Chief, AKBP Slamet Riyadi to reporters, Monday, December 11.

Then the case was developed from the suspect MF to the Kebon Jeruk area. The police then confiscated 4 small packages of marijuana from MF's house.

From GR and MF's statements, both admitted that the marijuana belonged to F (DPO). Currently, the police are still hunting for GR and MF.

Then in addition to arresting a marijuana courier with the initials GR and MF, the police also managed to apprehend a methamphetamine courier with the initials MN on Jalan Andong, Palmerah, West Jakarta.

"From MN's hands, 1 clip of methamphetamine packages and 4 ecstasy pills was confiscated. 2 ounces of crystal methamphetamine, 3 grams," he said.

Furthermore, the police conducted a search of the suspect's boarding house and again found methamphetamine, suction devices, and other evidence.

As a result of his actions, the suspects GR and MF were charged with Article 114 paragraph 2 subsidiary Article 111 paragraph 2 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics. The suspect MN was charged with Article 114 paragraph 2 subsidiary Article 112 paragraph 2 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics.
