TKN Prabowo-Gibran Admits Free Lunch Program Imitates Anies Baswedan

JAKARTA - The Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN) admitted that the free lunch program imitated the program that Anies Baswedan had carried out when he led DKI Jakarta.

This was conveyed by a member of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo. Rahayu said, Prabowo-Gibran continued the free lunch program as a refinement to reduce the stunting rate.

Rahayu explained that at that time the Governor of DKI Jakarta issued a free feeding program for elementary school students, through the program for Providing Supplementary Food for School Children (PMTAS) in 459 schools spread across 53 urban villages.

But unfortunately, Anies did not include the program that was considered successful in his vision and mission as a candidate for President of the Republic of Indonesia 2024-2029.

"When it comes to continuing, we always talk about sustainability and improvement. So we continue and perfect good things," said Rahayu in a written statement, Friday, December 8.

Rahayu said that the free lunch and milk program for school children and pregnant women is actually in the vision and mission of Prabowo-Gibran. It has even become a mainstay of the second pair of education campaigns.

Therefore, Rahayu assessed, the free lunch program needs to be continued and perfected by the next leader. Including adding free milk for children and pregnant women.
