Deputy Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Fahri Hamzah said Qatari investor Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al Thani would sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) related to funding for 1 million housing units today.
The signing of the MoU will be carried out at the State Palace and will be witnessed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto.
This was conveyed by Fahri after attending a coordination meeting and discussing the 2025 work plan with five technical ministers at the office of the Coordinating Ministry for Regional Infrastructure and Development (IPK), Jakarta, Wednesday, January 8.

Fahri said, after signing the MoU, there would be a technical meeting to discuss the stages of land selection to permit processing.
"The technical scheme will certainly be held at a meeting later. There will be a more technical meeting when the stages of land selection are carried out, permit management and so on," he said.
According to Fahri, the government welcomes the plan to support the achievement of the 3 million house program made by Prabowo Subianto.
