SUKABUMI - The death toll from the explosion of compressed natural tubes (CNG) carrying trucks on Jalan Raya Lodaya (Bogor-Sukabumi), Sukabumi Regency, West Java, has become two people.

"The two victims were male with the initials U, a resident of Parakansalak District and a woman with the initials H, a resident of Bojonggenteng District, Sukabumi Regency," said Cibadak Police Chief Ridwan Ishak, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 27.

According to Ridwan, from the results of the data collection, eight victims were rushed to Sekarwangi Hospital Cibadak. Of these, two victims died and six others are still undergoing intensive treatment in the emergency installation room (IGD).

The victim who died is currently still in the burial room for post-mortem and waiting for the family to pick up the body of the victim of the CNG tube explosion in Karangtengah Village, Cibadak District.

From the results of the examination of the victims who died, it was suspected that they were caused by injuries caused by a hard object impact on the head.

Despite the pandemic, his party is still waiting for information from local hospital medical officers to find out for sure the main cause of death.

On the other hand, until now police personnel from the Cibadak Police and the Sukabumi Police are still investigating the case of the explosion of the CNG tube by asking for information from a number of witnesses at the scene.

For traffic flow on Jalan Raya Lodaya, which initially experienced traffic jams, until 21.30 WIB, traffic conditions had returned to normal, both from Bogor to Sukabumi City and vice versa.

As previously reported, a CNG tube transported by truck on Jalan Raya Lodaya suddenly exploded at around 17.30 WIB. When the explosion occurred at the scene, there were many vehicles and residents because it coincided with the factory's dispersal.
