Man In Central Jakarta Allegedly Cheated By OTK Who Claims To Be Leasing

JAKARTA - A man with the initials FA is suspected of being a victim of fraud with the leasing officer mode. As a result, one Yamaha Nmax motorcycle was taken by the alleged perpetrator.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the incident occurred on Jalan Benjamin Sueb, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Saturday, November 23, yesterday.

"It is true that the man in Kemayoran is a two-wheeled fraud korab. The loss is IDR 27 million," said Ade Ary in his statement, Sunday, November 24.

Ade Ary explained that the incident began when the victim was riding a motorcycle at the crime scene (TKP). Suddenly a group of people came claiming to be leasing to ask the victim to stop.

Then the Unknown Oran (OTK) asked whether the owner of the motorbike matched the data he owned or not.

"Because it's true, the victim stopped and got out of the vehicle. The perpetrator asked the victim to show the STNK korabn and the victim was invited to come to the office," he said.

After the victim obeyed the perpetrator's orders to come to the office. It turned out that the FA was asked for an unclear reason.

"But the victim was abandoned and the perpetrator fled with the vehicle," he said,

The victim reported the incident to the police. The goal is for further action.
