Total Social Assistance 2023 Disbursed In Central Lombok Reaches IDR 331 Billion

CENTRAL LOMBOK - Total social assistance (Bansos) disbursed by the Ministry of Social Affairs in the Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province reached IDR 331 billion for the 2023 fiscal year.

"This Rp331 billion social assistance is from the Ministry of Social Affairs for one year," said Member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia Nanang Samudera during the delivery of social assistance at the Central Lombok Regent's office, Saturday.

He said this social assistance was a program from the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in order to improve the welfare of the community.

"This is social assistance in 2023," he said.

He hopes that the beneficiary group (KPM) will make good use of the program so that it can increase economic growth.

"We hope that the community will make good use of this assistance," he said.

Meanwhile, Assistant I of the Central Lombok Regional Secretariat, Lalu Wiraningsung said, the Rp313 billion social assistance fund was directed to 7 types of social assistance with the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) program or Rp294 billion in basic food assistance, the Family Hope Program (PKH) Rp34 billion, the integrated welfare home program (RTS) Rp200 million, the program to add elderly food Rp 2.4 billion.

In addition, funds for the program to add food with disabilities are Rp. 552 million, the assistance program for orphans (Yapi) is Rp. 627 million and funds for the independent pen assistance program is Rp. 39 million.

"Of the 7 programs, there are indeed three new social assistance programs, namely RTS, Yapi and the elderly food program," he said, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, November 25.

He said the number of beneficiaries of social assistance groups in Central Lombok reached 696,956 families.

"The data in detail does not exist, the data is in the Central Lombok Social Service," he said.
