Fugitive Case Of Persecution Arrested While Snatching Cellphones In Ciracas

The Ciracas Police have arrested two perpetrators of mugging of women on Cibubur VII street, RT 09/RW 04, Ciracas sub-district, East Jakarta. The two perpetrators had the initials AM (20) and YKP (20).

From the results of the police investigation, one of the perpetrators with the initials AM was also involved as the perpetrator of the beating that killed a teenager named Usama (22).

Ciracas Police Chief Kompol Agung Ardiansyah said the suspect AM was the perpetrator of the robbery who also had another case, namely the beating. From AM and YKP's hands, a cell phone belonging to the victim with the initials DNF (20) was confiscated.

"The woman with the initials DNF became a victim of robbery by suspect AM. At the time of the incident, AM was in charge of carrying a motorbike while YKP served as the executor to seize the victim's cellphone," said Kompol Agung, Thursday, November 23.

The perpetrator YKP took the victim's cellphone using his left hand when the victim was playing on his cellphone while walking.

"The victim was a pedestrian," he said.

Kompol Agung stated that the suspect AM was charged with multiple articles for his actions.

"AM is subject to Article 363 paragraph (1) 4 with a sentence of more than five years in prison for robbery, and the brawl is under Article 170 paragraph (2) of the 3rd Criminal Code with a penalty of twelve years in prison," he said.
