Masinton Sindir Jokowi Director Of Political Dramas: Don't Be Manipulative, Pura-Pura Drama

JAKARTA - PDIP politician Masinton Pasaribu quipped President Joko Widodo about the political conditions ahead of the 2024 General Election, many of his dramas during a speech at the celebration of Golkar's anniversary some time ago.

According to Masinton, it is actually the narration that has been the director behind the political dramas that have been widely discussed lately.

"I don't want drama, but you direct, it's the same," said Masinton at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Thursday, November 16.

The DPR member of the DKI Jakarta electoral district did not directly refer to Jokowi as a director of political dramas. However, as is known by the public, the narrative of political dramas was widely discussed after the head of state called the term.

Masinton also emphasized that all those involved in this political drama are actors, not directors. The director, he said, was someone who pretended not to want a drama.

"This is all drama players, sir. There should be no dramas, but you direct them," he said.

Therefore, Masinton reminded that the party who is the director does not need to pretend anymore. This is because the legislator of Commission XI of the DPR RI assesses that the people already know the game that is happening.

"Yes, don't pretend again that the dramas are polite, manipulative. The leader is one word and act. This manga seems to want to be wronged, the people already know. We have to end thismpure," he said.

"Yes, of course we all don't want drama, there are no fakes," added Masinton.

Previously, President Jokowi talked about the current political conditions ahead of the 2024 presidential election. For Jokowi, currently there are too many political dramas.

"I see that lately what we have seen is too many dramas, too many dramas, too many soap operas, there should be fight ideas, fighting ideas, not fighting feelings," Jokowi said in a speech at Golkar Anniversary, Monday, November 6.

"If there is a fight that makes us all bothered, I don't have to continue because it will go anywhere," said Jokowi.
