Airlangga Reveals SBY's Reason For Not Entering The Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team

JAKARTA - General Chairperson (Ketum) of the Golkar Party Airlangga Hartarto revealed the reason why the Chairman of the Upper House of the Democratic Party Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) was not included in the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka national campaign team (TKN).

According to Airlangga, the TKN structure is only based on the General Chairperson and Secretary General (Sekjen) of political parties in the Advanced Indonesia Coalition.

"If that's all based on the secretary-general, and the chairman enters AHY," said Airlangga at the Golkar DPP Office, Slipi, West Jakarta, Monday, November 6, evening.

Airlangga himself was appointed as Chairman of the Steering Committee accompanied by general chairmen of the Jakarta Maju Coalition (KIM) political parties as vice chairman. Among them, the Daily Chairperson of Gerindra Sufmi Dasco Ahmad.

In addition, the Head of Democrats Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), the Chairman of PAN Zulkifli Hasan, the Head of the United Nations Yusril Ihza Mahendra, the Head of Gelora Anis Matta, the Chairman of PSI Kaesang Pangarep, the Head of Garuda Ridho Sahbana, the Head of Prima Agus Jabo Priyono.

It is known that the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN) was announced yesterday, Monday, November 6. The members of the TKN announced consisted of the secretary-general of the Indonesian Maju Coalition (KIM) political parties, a number of retired TNI and Polri, as well as volunteer groups.

The Prabowo-Gibran pair was promoted by KIM in the 2024 presidential election. The coalition is fronted by the Gerindra Party, Golkar Party, PAN, Democratic Party, PBB, Gelora Party, Garuda Party, Prima Party, and PSI.
