The Foreign Minister Of Arab Countries With The US Will Discuss War In Gaza

JAKARTA - Jordan announced that his foreign ministers and other foreign ministers from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Egypt will hold a joint meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Amman. The meeting will take place on Saturday, November 4 (local time) to discuss the latest developments in Gaza.

"Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Al-Safadi, as well as foreign ministers from the UAE, the Kingdoms of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the Republic of Arab Egypt, as well as the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization will hold a coordination meeting tomorrow, Saturday," said Jordanian Foreign Minister Sufyan Qudah in a statement quoting Antara.

"The meeting was in the context of their efforts to stop Israel's war on Gaza and its humanitarian catastrophe," Qudah said further.

The ministers will then hold a joint meeting with Antony Blinken to affirm Arab positions and call for an immediate ceasefire and immediate delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, the spokesman added.

He stressed that the officials would "discusse how to end a dangerous slump that threatens regional security as a whole."

Israeli troops have expanded air and groundstrikes in the Gaza Strip, which have been hit by non-stop airstrikes since Hamas carried out a surprise attack on October 7.

Nearly 10,800 people have died in the conflict, including at least 9,240 Palestinians and more than 1,538 Israelis.
