Indramayu Police arrested a man with the initials DSM who was the perpetrator of the murder of a farmer in Sukaraja Village, Indramayu Regency, West Java.

The incident, said Fahri, began when the victim's body was found on a rice field in Sukaraja Village on Thursday (28/9), with several parts of the body injured.

From a series of investigations and investigations, the Indramayu Police Satreskrim was finally able to uncover the case and immediately arrested the perpetrator at his residence.

"We found the sickle belonging to the victim (which the suspect used to persecute). In accordance with the handle which was also found at the scene," said Fahri.

Fahri said that based on the suspect's confession, the motive for the violence was because DSM had hallucinations and was involved in a fight with the victim.

In addition, said Fahri, DSM had undergone treatment at the Indramayu Hospital because he was suffering from depression.

In order to re-assert the suspect's mental condition, the Indramatu Police then conducted a visum et repertum psychiatricum examination. "The suspect hasCENE (heavy mental condition)," said Fahri.

Fahri emphasized that the legal process for this case would continue even though the suspect hadETTING symptoms. His party will also explore the real motive of DSM who was determined to abuse the victim.

The suspect was charged with Article 380 of the Criminal Code with a maximum prison sentence of 15 years.
