"The perpetrator raped the victim at his house when the situation was quiet, even the victim was tortured for rejecting the victim's wishes. The action had been carried out repeatedly against the victim, until the victim finally reported it," he said in Cianjur, Antara, Monday, October 16. In front of the officers, the perpetrator admitted his actions which had raped M, who was his nephew. The rape was carried out when the perpetrator's wife and child were not at home. The perpetrator had slapped and threatened the victim for refusing to serve his lecherous lust. Even the victim is threatened with death if he tells his actions to his parents and other people so that the victim is forced to serve the perpetrator's wishes. "The victim finally dared to report after telling everything to his parents, the perpetrator was immediately arrested without putting up a fight," said Tono. The perpetrator was charged with Article 81 Paragraph of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning sexual intercourse with children with the threat of imprisonment for 15 years plus one-third the sentence for still having family relations. Tono asked residents or rape victims not to be afraid to report because the police would guarantee the safety and security of the victims. In fact, the police will accompany the victim to relieve trauma due to being a victim of crime.

"We also ask parents to pay more attention and supervision of their children so as not to become victims of crimes because so far, the perpetrators of rape are people who are well known by the victim," he said.
