Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin said Tanah Abang Market in Central Jakarta which was considered eroded by the digital market was a real impact of technological disruption. On that occasion, the Vice President said the disruption challenge also hit the Islamic economic and financial sectors which needed to be responded to by mitigating business actors in the sharia sector. "We should be grateful, the leading sector of the Islamic economy and finance has recorded various positive achievements in recent years," he said.

According to him, universal uniqueness, inclusive nature, and sharia economy are able to offer alternative options in running the economy. "Although, the positive achievement is actually still not sufficient compared to the national Islamic economic potential and strength," he said. Ma'ruf said that adjustments were needed to the challenge of disruption, while continuing to pursue other challenges, namely the lack of literacy. "Literacy is a very important factor and is one of the keys to accelerating the pace of economic growth and national sharia finance," he said.
