Anies-Ahok Prepare A Surprise In 2025, PDIP: They Are The Two Who Know

PDI-P Spokesperson (PDIP) Chico Hakim admitted that his party did not know what surprises were prepared by two former Governors of DKI Jakarta, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) and Anies in 2025.

This was in response to the moment of Ahok and Anies' closeness who sat next to each other and talked during the Bahtang Harapan JakASA event held by the DKI Provincial Government, December 31, 2024.

"The ones who know the most what they are whispering to each other, of course, they are the two of them who know better. They also don't necessarily tell anyone about it," Chico told reporters, Friday, January 3.

According to Chico, the closeness of Ahok and Anies, who used to be political rivals in the 2017 Pilkada, should receive a positive response from the community.

What is clear, Chico hopes that the surprise prepared by Anies and Ahok is an effort to help the Jakarta cagub-cawagub pair elected for the 2024 Pilkada, Pramono Anung and Rano Karno to build Jakarta in the next five years.

"We'll just have to wait. There will be a lot of momentum in the early 2025, such as the launch of a community organization engaged in the social sector by Mas Anies," said Chico.

"If we talk about Jakarta, Mas Pram and Bang Doel will be sworn in as the new governor and deputy governor and also for us in the PDI struggle to hold a congress earlier this year," he added.

On the sidelines of a series of New Year celebrations at DKI Jakarta City Hall a few days ago, Anies and Ahok seemed to be sitting next to each other and chatting familiarly. Every now and then, former Governor of DKI Djarot Saiful Hidayat also chatted.

When asked what was the content of the conversation, Ahok was reluctant to answer. The former President Commissioner of Pertamina even threw it at Anies. "I have to ask Mr. Anies, please," said Ahok at DKI City Hall, Tuesday, December 31.

Ahok said he would dismantle the contents of his chat with Anies next month. Meanwhile, Anies only agreed to Ahok's statement.

"Wait. Wait for the game date. Later. It's been said to Wait. If you wait, you have to wait for us," said Anies.

In addition, Djarot Saiful Hidayat revealed that there would be a surprise related to Anies. "There will be a surprise next year. There must be a surprise," said Djarot.
