The South Tangerang Serua River Normalization Project Was Stopped After The Accident That Killed One Worker

TANGERANG Kali Serua normalization project, in Pondok Kacang Barat, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang (Tangsel) was stopped after the accident that killed a worker named Suherman.

"Currently the project has been temporarily suspended and is being handled by the police," said Head of the South Tangerang Water Resources and Construction Agency (SDABMBK), Robbi Cahyadi in his statement, Friday, October 6.

Robbi said, apart from one person who died, two project workers also suffered fractures.

Two workers whose identities have not been identified are still undergoing treatment at the hospital due to fractures. Receive full compensation and treatment from BPJS Employment registered by the company," he said.

The police have secured the head of the Kali Serua normalization project (pimpro) at Villa Bintaro Regency, East Pondok Kacang, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang, South Tangerang after the work accident that killed one person.

"We have secured everything from the leadership of this project," said Pondok Aren Police Chief, Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq in a short message, Friday, October 6.

Bambang suspects that there was an element of negligence by workers at the scene. This was marked by information that there was no personal safety equipment worn while working.

"Nothing, they ignore work safety. Not equipped with supporting equipment," he said.

Bambang said that until now his party had examined a number of witnesses. He did not deny that this case is likely to have other suspects.
