Express Condolences for the Tanah Bumbu Incident, Pertamina Ensures Tank Cars Are Not Registered

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Kalimantan expressed deep condolences over the traffic accident incident that occurred on Jalan Trans Kalimantan, Satui District, Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan, on Saturday, August 1.

Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Regional Kalimantan PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Edi Mangun, conveyed his deep condolences for the disaster.

"We express our deepest condolences and condolences to the victims' families. May the victims undergoing treatment recover soon, and the families left behind be given strength and patience," said Edi in a statement to the media quoted on Monday, August 3.

Regarding information on the involvement of the tanker car in the incident, Edi continued, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Kalimantan said that based on internal research, the vehicle was not registered as a Pertamina operational fleet and was not recorded to carry out service activities at the Pertamina Terminal.

"We continue to coordinate with relevant parties to ensure information regarding the vehicle. We fully hand over the handling and investigation process to the authorities," said Edi.
