Secure AIS Summit In Bali, Police Hold Tribrata Agung Operations To Deploy 4,083 Personnel

The National Police held Operation Tribrata Agung in the context of securing the Archipelagic and Island State High Level Conference (KTT AIS) 2023 in Bali from 10 to 13 October. Around 4,083 personnel were deployed in the activity security scheme. "The National Police deployed 4,083 personnel with details of 1,863 personnel from the National Police Headquarters and 2,220 personnel from the Bali Police," said Head of the Tribrata Operations Public Relations Task Force Agung Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan in his statement, Wednesday, October 4. The Tribrata Agung 2023 operation will last for 6 days, starting from October 8 to 13. In this handling activity, thousands of personnel were deployed to be placed in the jurisdiction of the Bali Police, especially at the location of the AIS Summit. "This operation prioritizes preemptive and preventive activities. Then, it is supported by law enforcement, cyber, Interpol, and public relations," he said. In the overall security scheme, the National Police supports Paspampres and Kogabwilhan II in ring 3 and 4. Where, is the object area of hotel activities and lodging for heads of state participating in the 2023 AIS Summit. "The National Police carried out security in rings 1,2,3 and 4 (area) on the object of activities and lodging of the ministers of countries present and delegates at the AIS 2023 Summit," said Ramadhan. Furthermore, Ramadhan said, in the context of contingency (emergency) the role of efforts to save heads of state, will be the task of Paspampres and Kogabwilhan II and assisted by the National Police if requested. "In a continuing situation, efforts to rescue the ministers of the delegation of the AIS Summit are the responsibility of the National Police by implementing a contingency plan regulated in Safe Operations Nusa I,II and III," said Ramadhan. The National Police also deployed 160 personnel and vehicles that were BKO-based to Paspampres in escorting VVIP.

In addition, the National Police uses Command Center 91 ITDC Nusa Dua as a security activity post for the AIS 2023 Summit which has complete features in monitoring personnel movements, security vehicles, communication lines, internal police applications, external applications from related agencies, which can anticipate potential threats to the security of the head of state, ministers and delegates.
