Ask For Copy Of Land Acquisition Documents, Police Investigate Allegations Of Corruption At The Banjarmasin Walkot Office House

The South Kalimantan (Kalsel) Regional Police are investigating allegations of corruption in the procurement of land acquisition for the construction of the Banjarmasin Mayor's (Walkot) office for the 2022 fiscal year.

In the current investigation, the South Kalimantan Police have also written to the Head of the Banjarmasin City Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) regarding requests for a copy of documents related to land acquisition for the construction of the official residence of the Mayor of Banjarmasin.

The letter, which was signed by the Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Pol Suhasto, was in an effort by investigators to explore all documents and data.

It is known that the construction of the official residence of the Mayor of Banjarmasin on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Central Banjarmasin District, is now underway by working on the skeleton section of the pole for the ground floor.

The project was carried out by CV Maida Diva and supervisory consultant PT Sekta Gubah Sarana with a construction time of more than 150 calendar days worth IDR 4.6 billion.

As for the land covering an area of 2,400 square meters in 2022, the Banjarmasin City Government bought it for IDR 31 billion.

Procurement is carried out in two stages, namely the 2022 fiscal year purely worth Rp. 19 billion and in changes to Rp. 12 billion.
