IPEKA Grand Wisata Presents IPEKA RUN 2026

JAKARTA - IPEKA Grand Wisata Christian School for the first time held IPEKA RUN 2026: RUN2RISE, a 5K Fun Run event attended by around 700 participants on Saturday (8/8). This activity is part of the school's commitment to providing holistic education through character development, healthy lifestyles, and collaboration between schools, families, and communities.

Carrying the theme "RUN2RISE", every step in this activity symbolizes the spirit to continue to grow, rise to meet challenges. This spirit is in line with IPEKA Grand Wisata's commitment to shaping students who are academically superior and have character.

In addition to being a joint sports event, IPEKA RUN 2026: RUN2RISE is also a learning tool for students. All series of activities are prepared collaboratively by teachers, staff, and students. Student involvement in the board provides hands-on experience in leadership, communication, collaboration, and activity management.

IPEKA Grand Wisata Christian School Location Coordinator, Jonny Kurniawan, said IPEKA RUN 2026: RUN2RISE, provides a learning experience for students outside the classroom.

"We believe that through this activity, students learn about discipline, sportsmanship, cooperation, leadership, and responsibility. At the same time, IPEKA RUN also strengthens the synergy between schools, families, alumni, and the community in creating a positive learning environment and supporting the growth and development of students," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the IPEKA Christian High School Grand Wisata, Jukilivi Sitohang, as well as the Responsible for IPEKA RUN 2026: RUN2RISE expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm of all participants and the support of various parties in the implementation of this activity.

"We hope that IPEKA RUN can become an annual agenda that is awaited not only by the IPEKA family, but also the wider community. Through this event, we want to inspire more people to adopt a healthy lifestyle," he said.

In addition to the running event, this activity also presents a Bazaar & Food Festival which involves local MSMEs. The event was also enlivened by the appearance of students from TK to SMA, educational booths, and short health examination services with health partners.

IPEKA RUN 2026: RUN2RISE is open to the general public, families, students, and running communities with a route of five kilometers that starts and ends at the IPEKA Grand Wisata Christian School Field. As a form of appreciation, the committee also awards the three fastest runners, each for the male and female categories.

In order to ensure that the activities take place safely and comfortably, the committee works together with Mitra Keluarga Grand Wisata Hospital, Tambun Police, Babinsa, Grand Wisata Estate Management, the security team of the area, and the West Java Regional Education Office III Branch Office.

In conjunction with the IPEKA RUN 2026: RUN2RISE, IPEKA Grand Wisata Christian School also held an Open House as part of a series of activities to welcome the New Student Admission for the 2027/2028 Academic Year.

Through this activity, the public can get closer to the learning environment, education programs, and values implemented at IPEKA Grand Wisata Christian School. Currently, IPEKA Grand Wisata Christian School is opening a New Student Admission for the 2027/2028 Academic Year for all levels of education for families who want quality Christian education that supports the academic, spiritual, and character growth of students.
