Junior Roberts Says "Young Salt" Is Not Just Hipdut, There Is an Important Message

JAKARTA - Actor Junior Roberts joins as one of the cast members in the latest Indonesian series, Garam Muda. In this series, he plays the role of Kaizen who is one of the most popular students in his school.

Through a press conference, Junior Roberts explained that there was no difficulty in playing this character. The role he played turned out to have many messages that are suitable for today's generation.

"Here I play the role of Kaizen. Kaizen is the most popular child in his school, a cool kid, but he also hates bullying. So actually we in this series want to tell everyone - there are a lot of problems with bullying from the past to now. still happening," said Junior Roberts at a press conference in Central Jakarta on Friday, August 7.

"In this series we want to stop bullying and we want to set a good example that bullying is not good, the effects can be long-term in the future," he added.

Because he is familiar with the character, Junior chose to focus on the other side, namely the Hipdut genre. He admitted that he didn't know the Hipdut songs that were going viral, but thanks to this series, he became more understanding.

"What I explore is definitely about hipdut and popularity because what is emphasized is hipdut and how we express it and it is difficult. At first it was difficult because I didn't listen to it, but after a while it was easy to get it," continued Junior Roberts.

Regarding chemistry with Aisyah Aqilah, Junior added, "If (the same) Aisyah, it's easy because it's been a project and her son is a singer."

The series "Garam Muda" tells the story of Annet (Aisyah Aqilah), a new child who is bullied and determined to make a group with his friends. On the other hand, there is Kaizen (Junior Roberts), the most popular student in school who keeps a secret from the public.
